Everyday millions of people are in and out of hospitals for different things. A hospital is used for emergency care, cancer treatment, baby births, surgery, eye exams, regular check ups and much more. The hospital is the most important facility because it keeps people healthy. Many times people are scared of hospitals because they hate the smell, needles, sick environments, doctors, bad news, and much more. The majority of society make a negative correlation between hospitals and death. This is so because everyday many people die in hospitals all around the world, and for the most part this is the last place people see when they pass. The flip side to this is that the first place a person is at birth is a hospital. For every death there is in a hospital, there is a birth to compensate for it. Millions of babies are born every day in hospitals all around the world.

There are many different kinds of hospitals around the world, some more equipped than others. The United States has some of the best medical care in the world. Many people from all over flock to the United States just to use the medical facilities. Hospitals in other continents like Europe, Australia, and Asia are very well equipped as well, but do not compare to the united states hospital care. Many continents like Africa and South America get aid from the untied states, and many times doctors and surgeons retreat to these countries to provide medical care.

A hospital is different than a doctors office. Hospitals can be run by the state or the military. Some military hospitals are known as veterans hospitals, and some are just military hospitals. Most military hospitals are stationed wherever there are military basis’. For example, Virginia, Boston, and Hawaii. The patients must be a part of the military, veterans, or children of a person in the military. Hospitals ran by the state except medical insurance from the state and private companies as well. These hospitals are more like to except patients without health care. They also except patients from anywhere in the country. Some hospitals may be affiliated with a university or college. These facilities are typically used for research purposes as well as the treatment of there student and faculty. The good thing about these hospitals is that they also will take patience from the surrounding communities.

Other hospitals are used for specific care like pediatrics. These facilities usually specialize in caring for children with serious deceases or conditions. When children are badly hurt in tragic accidents they are typically sent to a pediatric hospital. This is so because different treatment is needed when caring for a child. Nevertheless, hospitals are facilities that are needed in the world. They help increase the quality of life and is span for people every day. The progression of the human race has brought about more diseases and viruses that make us sick everyday. Research and medical care is necessary for survival. Without these facilities people would definitely lead more complicated lives.
